Traditional Ruler Luckily escapes death as Youth Razes palace in Edo

A traditional ruler in Edo State has had to flee for his life as angry youths storm his palace to raze the building. His Royal Highness, Kingsley Omorose, the traditional ruler of Oghoghobi community in Ikpoba-Okha area of the state reportedly fled his community. He was reported to have fled after angry villagers invaded his palace and set it ablaze over the death of a former youth leader. It was learnt that valuable items belonging to the traditional ruler and some of his followers were destroyed in the fire. I won’t commit suicide for Buhari – Fayose

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has denied ever saying he would take his life if President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria alive. The governor made the denial on Monday, August 21 in reaction to statement credited to him by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state that he had vowed to kill himself if the president returned to the country.
