An explosive device suspected to have been planted by Boko Haram members has killed two people and injured three others along Damaturu – Biu road, Yobe state.

According to the report, the incident happened about 4:45pm on Sunday, August 20, close to Azare village. A local vigilante who gave his name as Modu quoted in the report, said the victims were cattle traders travelling to Gombe state from Buni Yadi town where they attended a weekly Sunday market.
