Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has denied ever saying he would take his life if President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria alive.
The governor made the denial on Monday, August 21 in reaction to statement credited to him by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state that he had vowed to kill himself if the president returned to the country.
The chief press secretary to the governor, Idowu Adelusi, told one of our sources that the statement was a creation of the APC in the state. He said: “Mr. Fayose never said he would commit suic*de if the President returns to the country.
